  5. Veikkaus to have new method for offering online lottery tickets - Ministry of the Interior

    7.9.2023 | On Thursday 7 September, the Government issued a Decree Amending the Decree on the Running of Veikkaus Oy's Gambling Games. The current decree has been updated to correspond to the amendments made to the Lotteries Act. The amendment will enable Veikkaus to create a new way to run lotteries online.

    16.2.2023 | The Government has adopted a resolution on the National Strategy for the Prevention of and Response to Environmental Damage extending to 2035. The Strategy was adopted at the government session on 16 February. Its main objective is to guide the authorities’ preparedness for current and future threats of environmental damage.   19. Legislative amendment to reduce reception allowance - Ministry of the Interior

    4.7.2024 | The reception allowance and the spending allowance to persons entitled to reception services will be reduced. On 4 July, the Government proposed that this amendment to the Reception Act be approved. The President of the Republic is scheduled to approve the amendment on Friday. The amendment will enter into force on 1 August and will remain in force temporarily until the end of 2025.
