  2. Lentoliikenteen matkustajatiedot laajemmin osaksi rikollisuuden torjuntaa - Sisäministeriö

    19.4.2018 | EU:n matkustajarekisteridirektiivi, eli niin kutsuttu PNR-direktiivi, mahdollistaa lentoliikenteen matkustajatietojen hyödyntämisen aiempaa laajemmin terrorismin ja vakavan rikollisuuden torjunnassa. Valtioneuvosto antoi 19.4. direktiivin täytäntöönpanoa koskevan hallituksen esityksen eduskunnalle. Lakien on tarkoitus tulla voimaan mahdollisimman pian.

  3. Restrictions on movement to and from Uusimaa enter into force on 28 March 2020 - Ministry of the Interior

    28.3.2020 | On 27 March, the Government submitted to Parliament two decrees concerning the Uusimaa region on the entry into force and the application of the restrictions on movement laid down in the Emergency Powers Act. The restrictions concern movement to and from the Uusimaa region. The movement restrictions in the Uusimaa region will enter into force on 28 March and remain in force until 19 April 2020.

  5. Restrictions on entry into the country to be tightened due to COVID-19 - Ministry of the Interior

    24.9.2020 | On 24 September, the Government adopted a decision on restrictions on entry into the country, which will enter into force on 28 September. Restrictions on entry will be reintroduced for traffic between Finland and Estonia, Germany, Iceland, Norway, Slovakia and Sweden, as well as for residents of Canada, Georgia and Tunisia who are travelling from their home country to Finland. Restrictions will be lifted for traffic arriving in Finland from San Marino.

    21.11.2012 | Persontrafiken vid gränsen mellan Finland och Ryssland har ökat rekordartat under de senaste åren. Totalt kommer gränsöverskridningarna vid östgränsen med stor sannolikhet att överstiga 12 miljoner i år. Man uppskattar att trafiken ökar med 15–20 procent per år under de kommande fem åren.

    19.4.2018 | The EU Passenger Name Record Directive, also known as the PNR Directive, enables a wider utilisation of passenger information collected by air carriers in the prevention of terrorism and other forms of serious crime. The Government submitted a proposal on the implementation of the Directive to Parliament on 19 April. The objective is that the proposed acts will enter into force as soon as possible.
