26.1.2026 | The Ministry of the Interior has supplemented the decree on fees charged for services provided by the police in 2026 with licence fees related to gambling services under the new Gambling Act. The new fees will be charged for an exclusive licence, a gambling licence and an authorisation for international cooperation for the holder of an exclusive licence or a gambling licence. 6.3.2026 | Finland, Sverige, Norge, Danmark, Island, Estland, Lettland, Litauen, Polen och Tyskland har kommit överens om att fördjupa samarbetet kring skydd av civilbefolkningen och undertecknat ett samförståndsavtal mellan de ministerier som ansvarar för civil beredskap. Samförståndsavtalet behandlades i februari vid ministrarnas digitala möte. 5.3.2026 | Det är meningen att det ska inrättas polisens reserv i Finland. Med hjälp av reserven säkerställs att polisen har tillräckliga resurser under alla förhållanden. Avsikten är att tröskeln för att aktivera polisens reserv ska vara hög. Regeringen lämnade en proposition om detta till riksdagen den 5 mars. 6.3.2026 | Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Iceland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland and Germany have agreed to deepen their cooperation on protecting the civilian population and have signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the ministries responsible for civil preparedness.
