  4. Regeringen föreslår en smidig fortsättning på det tillfälliga skyddet för ukrainare - Inrikesministeriet

    3.11.2022 | Avsikten är att genom en temporär ändring av utlänningslagen säkerställa att uppehållstillstånd som beviljats i Finland på grundval av tillfälligt skydd ska gälla under hela den tid det tillfälliga skyddet inom EU gäller. Det första uppehållstillståndet ska beviljas direkt för hela den tid skyddet gäller. Den som redan fått uppehållstillstånd ska inte heller separat behöva ansöka om förlängning av tillståndet. Regeringen lämnade en proposition om detta till riksdagen den 3 november.

    29.12.2022 | A temporary amendment to the Aliens Act will ensure the validity of residence permits issued in Finland to beneficiaries of temporary protection for as long as the temporary protection is in effect in the EU. A person's first residence permit will be issued directly for the entire period of validity of the temporary protection. Moreover, those who have already received residence permits will not need to apply for an extension separately.

    16.12.2021 | Police licence and permit fees are due to change in 2022. The price of a passport will fall, while most prices of other licences and permits will rise. The prices of identity cards will remain unchanged. The changes reflect the cost-correlation of licences and permits. The fees charged for licences and permits must correspond by law to the costs incurred in issuing these documents.

  12. New acts improve safety and security at sports events - Ministry of the Interior

    16.12.2021 | New acts will improve safety and security at football matches and other sports events. On Thursday 16 December, the President of the Republic approved the relevant bill on the Council of Europe Convention on an Integrated Safety, Security and Service Approach at Football Matches and Other Sports Events and the bill to amend the Assembly Act. Provisions on the entry into force of the acts will be laid down by government decree in early 2022.

    22.12.2021 | The Lotteries Act that regulates gambling will be amended. The focus of the reform is on preventing harm caused by gambling, combating marketing that violates the Lotteries Act, and directing the demand for gambling towards activities that are covered by the Lotteries Act.   14. Close to EUR 100 million increase proposed for the Ministry of the Interior’s administrative branch - Ministry of the Interior

  15. Restrictions on entry into Finland extended until 28 November - Ministry of the Interior

    4.11.2021 | Restrictions on external border traffic will continue. Vaccination coverage is not yet sufficient in Finland, and there is still a risk that the capacity of the healthcare system will be exceeded. For this reason, the validity of the decision made on 14 October will be extended until 28 November. However, people may still enter Finland from all countries upon presenting an approved certificate of a full course of vaccination.

  16. Inreserestriktionerna fortsätter till den 15 juni - Inrikesministeriet

    20.5.2021 | Statsrådet beslutade den 20 maj att inreserestriktionerna fortsätter fram till den 15 juni 2021. Coronapandemin pågår fortfarande, och det finns ännu inte tillräckliga åtgärder som kunde ersätta restriktionerna. Både av denna anledning och för att förebygga spridningen av virusvarianter förlängs gränskontrollen vid de inre gränserna och begränsningarna i trafiken över de yttre gränserna. I de beslut som fattades den 22 april görs små ändringar som träder i kraft den 24 maj.

  17. Pelastajakoulutukseen, pakolaiskiintiön nostamiseen ja EXIT-toimintaan esitetään lisärahoitusta - Sisäministeriö

    18.11.2021 | Sisäministeriön hallinnonalalle esitetään vuoden 2022 täydentävässä talousarvioehdotuksessa yhteensä 20,4 miljoonan euron lisäystä. Määrärahaa esitetään mm. turvallisuusviranomaisten yhteisen KEJO-tietojärjestelmän kehittämiseen 6,85 miljoonaa euroa, Hätäkeskuslaitoksen tietojärjestelmämaksuihin 1,3 miljoonaa euroa ja EU-rahastomomentille 8 miljoonaa euroa. Pelastajakoulutuksen vahvistamiseen esitetään yhteensä 1,95 miljoonaa euroa ja EXIT-toimintaan 0,3 miljoonan euron lisäystä.

  19. Maahantulon rajoituksia jatketaan 15.6. asti - Sisäministeriö

    20.5.2021 | Valtioneuvosto päätti 20.5., että maahantulon rajoituksia jatketaan 15.6.2021 asti. Koronapandemia jatkuu edelleen, eikä riittäviä toimenpiteitä rajoitusten korvaamiseksi ole vielä käytössä. Tämän vuoksi sekä virusmuunnosten leviämisen ehkäisemiseksi sisärajavalvontaa ja ulkorajaliikenteen rajoituksia jatketaan. 22.4. tehtyihin päätöksiin tehdään pieniä muutoksia, jotka tulevat voimaan 24.5.

  20. Laajakaistaisen viranomaisviestintäpalvelun käyttöönotto varmistetaan turvallisuuskriittisissä kohteissa - Sisäministeriö

    17.12.2020 | Pelastuslakia päivitetään viranomaisverkon käytettävyyttä koskevien säännösten osalta. Lakiesityksen tavoitteena on turvata viranomaisten väliseen viestintään tarkoitetun laajakaistaisen viranomaisviestintäpalvelun käytettävyys turvallisuuskriittisissä kohteissa. Valtioneuvosto antoi 17.12. eduskunnalle hallituksen esitysluonnoksen pelastuslain muuttamisesta.
