The proposal is related to the EU Regulation which aims to improve detection and removal of online content that incites to terrorist acts. The focus of the reform is on preventing harm caused by gambling, combating marketing that violates the Lotteries Act, and directing the demand for gambling towards activities that are covered by the Lotteries Act. 16.3.2022 | Minister of the Interior Krista Mikkonen and Sweden's Minister for Justice and Home Affairs Morgan Johansson will meet in Finland on 16 March to discuss the countries' cooperation in civil preparedness, rescue services and the implementation of the police cooperation agreement. 29.6.2021 | A provision on fingerprinting that supplements the relevant EU Regulation will be added to the Identity Card Act. In future, fingerprints will be taken from any person applying for an identity card, except for a person under the age of 12 or from a person in respect of whom fingerprinting is physically impossible, for example. 18.11.2021 | The Money Collection Act will be amended so that voluntary carbon offsetting services can be provided without a money collection licence in future. These services will be excluded from the scope of the Money Collection Act. The Government submitted the bill amending the Act for approval on Thursday 18 November.
