Finnish Government’s English Style Guide gets an update

The Prime Minister’s Office has updated and expanded the English Style Guide. The new edition includes fresh guidance on inclusive language and new recommendations.

The guide promotes clear, consistent and effective use of English in government communications and publications. It helps public officials write English that is easy to understand and sounds natural, for example by avoiding overly complex sentence structures and choosing precise verbs.
