  5. 27.1.2022 | On 1 December, the European Commission issued a proposal for provisional emergency measures for the benefit of Latvia, Lithuania and Poland. The proposal is part of a set of joint EU measures aimed at responding to Belarus’s actions. Belarus has made efforts at its borders to instrumentalise migration for political purposes.   8. 20.3.2026 | Finland will receive EUR 17 million from the European Union to strengthen the surveillance of the eastern border and the Gulf of Finland and improve Finland's ability to maintain an up-to-date picture of the situation.
