Minister of the Interior Orpo discusses migration with his Estonian colleague

Minister of the Interior Petteri Orpo will meet Estonian Minister of the Interior Hanno Pevkur in Tallinn today on 2 February. They will discuss joint EU action to manage the migration situation, and the repercussions of migration on Finland and Estonia. One of their main topics will be ferry traffic between Helsinki and Tallinn and its role as a possible route for asylum seekers.

The Ministers will also discuss the EU's Firearms Directive, for which Finland and Estonia share the concern that firearms used for reservist shooting may be prohibited.
