Finland delivers assistance from EU emergency stockpile to Ukraine

Finland has sent material assistance to Ukraine from the EU-funded rescEU emergency stockpile for the sixth time. The shipment from Finland included supplies against chemical, biological and radiological threats as well as personal protective equipment, among other supplies. The total value of the shipment is about EUR 1.7 million.

Views invited on legislative proposal to extend validity of Border Security Act

The Finnish Ministry of the Interior requests views on a draft government proposal to extend the validity of the Act on Temporary Measures to Combat Instrumentalised Migration, known as the Border Security Act. The purpose of the act is to prevent the use of instrumentalised migration to put pressure on Finland.
