Delegation of Iraqi officials visiting Finland

The Ministry of the Interior will host a delegation from Iraq visiting Finland this week on 12–14 January. The delegation mostly consists of officials from the Iraqi ministry responsible for migration affairs. The Iraqi officials will learn about our migration policy and meet representatives from the Ministry of the Interior, Ministry of Employment and the Economy, Finnish Immigration Service and the Police. Finnish and Iraqi officials will discuss the voluntary return of Iraqi asylum seekers to Iraq as well as the return of those who have no right to stay in Finland.
